Katapult has launched Call for Applications – an opportunity to fund the development of your video game
The largest fund financing video game development in Serbia has opened a new call for applications, so join the indie studios previously supported by Katapult. Among them are our members, Shosha Games and Tricoman Studios.
The Innovation Fund’s sixth Katapult public call is now open to a new generation of startups. Today, Katapult is much more than an acceleration program: over the course of the previous five cycles, it has built a distinctive community of startup founders, mentors, investors and partners, establishing itself as one of the most significant programs supporting startup development in Serbia.
A new cohort of participants will have the opportunity to work with leading local and international experts during the three-month program, refine their business strategies, build capacity for growth, connect with investors and join a community that continues to provide support even after the program concludes. Additionally, startups that secure a qualifying investment during the program or within nine months of its completion are eligible for non-repayable financial support of up to 36 million dinars.
All program users have the following at their disposal:
- An initial grant ranging from 2,400,000 to 6,000,000 dinars, depending on the stage of development, available during the mentorship program;
- A co-investment grant equal to the qualified secured investment, up to a maximum of 36 million dinars (less the amount of the initial grant received).
The application requirements are listed on the website, but the primary condition is that the applicant must be an active micro or small enterprise registered in Serbia (at least 80% privately owned) as a limited liability company (d.o.o.), with the majority of the team residing in Serbia (meeting the criteria for tax residency). The company must have been registered for at least one year but less than ten years at the time of application and must be majority-owned by the founding team of entrepreneurs.
Applications for the sixth Katapult public call are open until midnight on October 13, 2026, and must be submitted electronically via the Katapult portal. The text of the public call, program documentation and participation requirements are available on the Innovation Fund’s website.
