Stardock Launches Expanded Publishing Program with Crimson Freedom
Stardock Entertainment is a developer and publisher of computer games and Windows software founded in 1991, best known for Sins of a Solar Empire and Galactic Civilizations. They have recently launched an expanded publishing program, and the first game they signed came from Serbia.
“When we heard that Stardock was launching its publishing program, we had our application ready within days, even though we had originally planned to self-publish. Their decades of experience in both game development and publishing made this a unique opportunity that simply felt like the right fit for Crimson Freedom. Yboga was founded in mid-2016 in Belgrade with a focus on creating games for mobile devices. Their most successful game to date was Dream Hospital, which has recorded over 5 million downloads. However, in the last few years they have shifted their focus to their true passion: RTS games for PC.
Coming to Steam in 2027, their first PC title, Crimson Freedom, showcases the foundations of the RTS genre: base building, army management, resource systems, and single-player campaigns. Set on Mars in the 22nd century, Crimson Freedom pits three ideologies against each other for control of the red planet and the future of humanity.
