Serbia will be joining Gamescom for Business for the first time as a national front. A few Serbian gaming companies have participated in it before, but this year they will be gathered around SGA under the slogan THE NEW FRONTIER OF EUROPEAN GAME DEV.

Here you can visit an official Serbia at Gamescom page, download the digital issue of the catalog, and schedule a meeting with our members or us!

We have decided to present a buffet of what Serbia has to offer the global gaming industry. Now it’s time to show you what’s on the menu.

The Original IPs Menu

TWO DESPERADOS

As an example of a larger Serbian company, we present you Two Desperados, an eighty-person Belgrade studio that has published two successful casual titles in the marble-shooting genre: mobile games Woka Woka and Viola’s Quest. In April of this year, the studio also launched a new game, in a new genre – NoNo Crossing. Until now, Two Desperados could boast of having reached 30 million players but their number will surely grow with the broadening of genric horizons. At Gamescom, the company and their new game will be presented by Marko Subotić, CFO, and Tamara Milovanović, Communications Specialist.

PHOBOS

On the indie menu, one of the options is Phobos, a team from Belgrade working on their first title – Cloudburst. It is a narrative-driven hybrid of battle-royale and survival games. Take a look at Cloudburst’s Steam page and experience the dystopian alternative reality of Eastern Europe developed in the Unreal Engine. Choose whether to fight with others or join forces and develop communities. At Gamescom, chat about the game with Ivan Koroknai, founder and Lead Programmer, and Andrea Aleksić, co-founder and Lead Environment Artist.

SHOSHA GAMES

The next option on the indie menu is Shosha Games, a small team of friends covering their entire production pipeline. It was at game jams that they realized that video games were the perfect medium for their creative expression, and now they are working on their first titles, including Water, Me & You, a co-op adventure puzzle platformer, tucked comfortably into a post-apocalyptic world. Choose whether you want to be a water droplet or a seed-like creature, change your states and embark on a quest to save the world. At Gamescom, Nikola Šoškić, CEO, and Aleksa Jeremić, Producer, will be waiting to charm you.
