SGA member FoxyVoxel represents Serbia at this year’s Gamescom conference within the EuroPlay competition

Although this year’s edition of the most visited gaming conference Gamescom has been transferred to the online sphere, European gaming associations, led by UKIE, are organizing an unusual event within the conference, in order to draw attention to the rich European indie gaming scene.

It’s EuroPlay, a competition for the best, unpublished games from European, independent studios. EuroPlay will take place on Friday, August 28 – when trailers of these, as yet unpublished games will be shown live on the Twitch platform. Audiences will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite via Twitter.

No conference has had an event of this type so far, and Serbia is one of the 15 countries invited to participate. An expert jury composed of members of the SGA Board chose the game Going Medieval, by our member Foxy Voxel to represent us at this evening.

During the competition, journalists, influencers, publishers, and the media will have the opportunity to meet the teams behind each presented game in specially organized interviews.

At a time when exhibiting at international events is significantly more difficult, this is an ideal opportunity to present new indie titles to the world audience and leading people from the gaming industry in a fun and interactive way.

Don’t miss the live stream on the official Gamescom Twitch channel and be sure to vote for Going Medieval.
