Yes, we are very proud of our studios for being accepted into this highly significant program—though we already shared the news a few months ago when we first announced it. However, it seems that wasn’t the end of the story, and we are once again proud to share that out of a total of six finalists, all three of our teams made it to the finals of the pitching competition at the end of the program. Even more exciting, Demagog Studio won first place! The team presented their new project, currently in the ideation and concept phase, titled Gaia Sunrise.
To recap, this year, the EVA (European Videogame Accelerator) program received a total of 182 applications, with 111 meeting the eligibility criteria, coming from 27 different countries. After a careful selection process, 24 studios from 14 countries were included in this year’s cycle. Over six intense months of workshops, networking, and mentoring from March to August, our indie studios—Bohemian Pulp, Shosha Games, and Demagog Studio—participated in this remarkable journey.
