We invite you to the “Intro to Game Industry” Meetup in Novi Pazar!

SGA isn't just for gaming companies; we are here for community, development of creativity and opportunities for all young people who are interested in the gaming industry. This is your chance to get to know the world of video games, learn, network and maybe even get an idea to start something new. Whether you're an industry veteran or just starting out, there's room for everyone here!

Also, this is an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the programs implemented by SGA, and you will be guided through them by Nenad Jovanovski, and you will have the opportunity to hear about the Playing Narratives project, through which young creatives get to know the process of working on the development of narrative games with a socially engaged dimension as well as about the Shift2Games platform, which is intended for easier information about careers in the gaming industry, opportunities for development, as well as the experiences of professionals who have retrained in the gaming industry.

Novi Pazar native, Ramiz Trtovac at this meetup will have the pleasure to introduce you to the world of the gaming industry, and provide you with information about it:

  • How competition and the number of players affects the gaming scene
  • The role of different platforms such as PC, consoles and mobile devices in accessing games
  • Development of new technologies such as virtual reality and cloud gaming
  • Gaming marketing methods that include influencers, social media and events
  • The role of publishing in the development, distribution and promotion of games
  • Different player motivations and how they affect game design
  • The impact of gaming culture on society, including eSports and the narrative elements of games

The event is open to anyone interested, regardless of previous experience or knowledge.

Don’t miss your chance to dive into the dynamic world of video games and find out how you can become a part of this fast-growing industry!

*** This year’s program would not be possible without the support of the RECONOMY* project, as well as dedicated partners from the industry – the company 3Lateral as part of Epic Games and the program partner Center for the Promotion of Science (CPN). In addition to them, the Goethe-Institut and the French Institute in Serbia are participating in the project.

*RECONOMY is a regional inclusive and green economic development program of the Swedish Development Agency Sida, which is implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, in cooperation with the organization Help – Hilfe zir Selbsthilfe e.V. and other partners in the countries of the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership.

Ramiz Trtovac,
Head of UA, Game Biz Consulting
About the lecturer

I joined the Performance Marketing industry 8 years ago and I had a chance to work with clients like Nestle, Unilever, Actavis, etc. After that, I joined the Mobile Gaming industry at Two Desperados 5 years ago where I had a chance to manage multimillion-dollar budget campaigns on the biggest UA networks like Google, Facebook, Applovin, ironSource, Moloco, etc. Within those 5 years, I’ve achieved profitable scale for both games x5 times, becoming the Marble Shooter category leader, successfully opening the APAC market, and developing a soft launch strategy for a new game in a new genre. In July 2023 I joined GameBiz consulting as Head of UA to help gaming studios with all UA challenges.
