The news premiered on the Xbox + Bethesda Games Showcase, and the game will be released exclusively on the Xbox on the consoles, in the X and S series. It will also be available to Game Pass users from day one.
As part of the PC Gaming Show program, on the same day, the first Scorn gameplay walkthrough video with comments was shown, voted for by none other than the legendary Doug Bradley. This short video provides more information about the inspiration for the game itself, as well as what players can expect during their journey through the dark landscapes of the former civilization.
Scorn is an adventure that throws the player into an abandoned nightmarish world in a state of disintegration. Surrounded by unusual biomechanical devices, the player must understand the logic of the world and its architecture in order to progress in his attempt to understand where he is and what his role is in the grotesque labyrinth of horror.
Scorna’s aesthetics are primarily inspired by the works of H.R. Giger, as well as the works of the Polish painter Beksinski, among many other influences from the world of art and philosophy. The artistic expression of the created world in the game is an amalgam of architecture, technology, painting, as well as biology. It could be said that it is a combination of Gothic and modern industrial elements, very often connected by bizarre organic creations.
