New CGA conference on creative industries in gaming and film is just around the corner
The Serbian Film Comission, Crater Training Center and Materriya Talent Development are organizing a new edition of the CGA conference on April 10th and 11th at the Yugoslav Film Archive. This year’s theme, Untitled, reflects the dynamic changes shaping the digital world. In an era of accelerated technological developments in artificial intelligence, new business models and the transformation of creative industries, CGA 2025 explores how professionals in video games, film, digital arts and visual communications are adapting to change, redefining their goals and embracing innovation.
A special focus will be on artificial intelligence and its impact on the creative industries. In the gaming domain, topics include procedural worlds and real-time image rendering technology, while in film, the future of VFX, new tools and AI-assisted workflows will be discussed. This is an opportunity to learn about innovations in animation and immersive technologies, as well as trends in marketing campaigns, with a focus on next-generation brand experiences.
Visitors will have access to three program stages, as well as a space for masterclasses. This year, CGA is also introducing a new format – Boardroom Talks, where leaders from different segments of the industry will meet and share their insights into the future of business synergy of technology and creativity. CGA 2025 will also feature young successful authors from Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia, including content creators in Fortnite and Minecraft, whose talents and multidisciplinary approach give a new vision to popular culture.
