Industry challenges at the forefront at the upcoming Community Summit

The first Epic Games Community Summit this year will present Epic Games' educational programs for 2026 and provide a platform for discussions about professional challenges and technological changes within the community.

At the Community Summit on Thursday, March 12th, from 5 PM at the Novi Sad Science and Technology Park (1 Fruškogorska Street), you can expect two expert lectures and a completely new format – round tables for different professions and seniorities.

Bojan Andrejek, CTO at Blackcode SA, will give a talk on How to Navigate Rapidly Changing Landscapes of Digital Industries (and Stay Relevant and Employable). He will share his journey from Fellowship participant to business owner, authorized Unreal Engine instructor and Partner.

Snezhana Paderina, Art Director and Founder of SNEZHANA.NYC Studios will present on the topic The Cut, the Stitch, and the Shader – How Fashion, Film, and Unreal Engine Rewired My Career. As an alumna of the Epic Games Novi Sad educational programs, she will talk about her motivation to become a mentor to the next generation of Unreal Fellowship program participants and an authorized Unreal Engine instructor.


The second part of the event will feature interactive, parallel discussions dedicated to exploring current challenges in the use of technology, indie project development, entrepreneurship, career development and academic education.

The round tables will be dedicated to the following topics:

  • From Junior to Industry ReadySGA representatives, Epic Games program lecturers and HR from a major gaming company will explore what it means to be industry-ready today and what resources make a difference in your career path.
  • Professionals Moving Forwarda session for professionals that goes beyond the gaming industry and focuses on the integration of tools and practical workflows used in professional projects.
  • Educators in Industry Realitya roundtable for lecturers to talk about real-world challenges and consider solutions for aligning curricula with industry needs.
