Mad Head Games is working on Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, the first game in the famous horror franchise
The world’s first Hellraiser game to join the rich universe of the legendary Clive Barker is also the first game Mad Head Games is working on as part of the Saber Group, which they joined in 2020. The Serbian game developers had the opportunity to work directly with Clive Barker, as well as with Doug Bradley, who returns to the role of the terrifying Pinhead for the first time in almost two decades.
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival was primarily inspired by the first two films, but the game’s plot is not a direct adaptation but rather presents a new story within the franchise’s terrifying universe, expanding its imaginary world.
Pulling the horror franchise from the depths of oblivion, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will immerse players in a twisted nightmare that fuses elements of survival horror with single-player, story-driven action-adventure, taken to new and terrifying extremes. As Aidan, players will embrace the powers of a mysterious box (the Genesis configuration) in order to free Aidan’s girlfriend from the depths of hell. Along the way, they will have to survive a pact with Pinhead and fight against a cult that celebrates him and the Cenobites.
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is available for wishlists on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
