Foxy Voxel is seeking an experienced Game Programmer to join the development of Going Medieval!
We are a small team so ideally you are a well rounded game developer with experience in game engines, with a good understanding of game design, graphics, sound, shaders, 3D models, etc.
In Foxy Voxel we work remotely or in office space in Novi Sad, Serbia. Whatever works best for any team member. There is no overtime and crunch and we cherish our small team culture.
We’re looking for someone that is:

Able to work in a team, and happy to both provide and receive constructive feedback

Happy to be a part of a small dev team and work on successful and fun indie games
Candidate should have the following qualities:

Multiple years of experience in game development

Proficiency in C#
-
Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.)

Comfortable writing well-structured code and committed to code quality

Strong understanding of programming best practices and design patterns

Debugging and profiling skills
-
Experience with modern software engineering tools such as source control systems and code IDEs
These skills are also desirable:

Experience with the Unity game engine

Experience with JetBrains rider IDE, GIT, build pipelines and related tools, Jira and other agile development tools and processes
What you’ll be doing:

Prototyping and Implementing new gameplay mechanics

Improving existing game systems

As with all of our programmers, you may also work on a variety of tasks such as monitoring performance, crashes, exceptions, and developing solutions
