A special part of the fair this time is reserved for the promotion of gaming companies and the entire domestic gaming industry. Visitors will have the opportunity to listen to a lecture by the Serbian Games Association (SGA) and thus get acquainted with the opportunities in gaming, potential positions that await them after their studies, as well as how to prepare and work on their own projects.
In addition, there will be some of the largest gaming companies where students can talk to representatives of these successful studios on the spot.
According to the SGA annual report, this year alone gaming companies in Serbia plan to hire over 350 experts from various fields – from programming to art, experts in marketing, monetization, employer branding. Currently, the possibility of working remotely and from home is a standard in the industry, so someone from Čačak or Niš can expect to get a job in studios in Belgrade and Novi Sad.
Courses at FTN Čačak are Information Technology in basic academic and basic vocational studies (200 students per year), Graphic Design in vocational studies (20-25 per year), which means that the faculty currently has over 2000 enrolled students who have the opportunity to develop a career in the gaming industry.
