The video game industry is celebrating its fiftieth birthday this year, and the Serbian scientific and general public is finally getting the first history dedicated to this phenomenon – “Total History of Video Games” by prof. Dr. Manojlo Maravić, which has just been published in cooperation with the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. Therefore, the publishing house Clio has organized a program that will introduce you to the world of video games.
From the program, we single out the panel discussion “50 years of video games”, which will be held on Monday, March 17 at 5 p.m. Participants in the panel: Dr. Ljiljana Gavrilovic, retired professor; Miloš Jocić, PhD, assistant professor; Kristina Janković Obućina, SGA Executive Manager; Mladen Levnaić, narrative designer at Playrix RS and prof. Dr. Manojlo Maravić, author.
They will discuss the situation in the Serbian video game industry, its very beginnings, but also ludo-narratology and the future of scientific gaming in our country. We are glad to see that this dialogue continues after the first scientific conference on video games, which was recently held in Novi Sad.
See you at the fair! You can see the entire program here:
