WHAT MAKES FTW! DIFFERENT?

For the Win! is a new and unique event in the European game dev space. After the packed program last year, we are proud to present the 2nd edition as a two-day experience this May!

It gathers both gaming professionals from the wider regions of CEE, Adriatic and the Balkans, as well as some of the leading European experts, decision makers and game dev ecosystem stakeholders. The premiere edition was held in April 2022, and despite the challenging times in which it was inaugurated, it attracted around 200 professionals from Serbia and across Europe.

FTW! proved to be a refreshing space for networking, knowledge transfer and discussions about the future of the European game dev communities.

WHO’S COMING?

For the Win! is an invite-only & free event spread across multiple amazing venues, set in the capital of one of Europe’s fastest developing local game dev ecosystems.

If you are a game dev professional, studio head, stakeholder, researcher or interested to get professionally involved with the game dev community – let us know if you are interested in attending.

In 2023, we are preparing four distinct tracks, as well as other side programs and activities, presenting 30+ speakers and bringing together more than 200 game dev professionals, as well as all those interested in getting involved with our flourishing community.

STAKEHOLDER MODULE

What makes FTW! different from other game dev conferences is its ecosystem approach, as we like to call it. FTW! aims to follow the broader trends relevant to the game development community, and is eager to involve stakeholders, European and national trade associations and decision makers, as well as to bridge different European regions.

We want to bring forward topics such as policies related to game development on the European and local levels, as well as relationships between the academic sector and the industry, and beyond. We are especially proud that we are joined by representatives of many relevant industry associations – such as IGDA, EGDF, ISFE and UKIE – and that we are organizing a special working round table for representatives of the Serbian academic sector in collaboration with the British Council.
