About the job Senior Weapon Artist (FPS)

We are tinyBuild a global video game publisher and developer focused on creating long-lasting, sustainable franchises across multiple media formats. Responsible for over 70 titles including Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper, and Potion Craft, the company has a dozen development studios spread across the US, EU, Serbia, and Ukraine.

We are looking for a Senior Weapon Artist for the Deadside project a hardcore multiplayer survival first-person shooter with an open world, available on Steam.

Our new weapon artist will be responsible for creating realistic well-textured in-game models of “dirty” weapons (with dust, dirt chunks, scratches, etc.) based on real models.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating realistic in-game models of weapons, attachments, and ammunition based on references, photos, and concepts.
  • Creating skins for weapons.

 

About you:

  • Experience in similar positions for at least 3 years;
  • In-depth knowledge of the pipeline for developing realistic weapon models using 3DS Max or Maya, Photoshop, and Substance;
  • Experience in creating weapon models in Fusion 360;
  • Ability to select themes for weapon skins based on current trends;
  • Experience working with complex shapes and textures of weapons or other realistic props.
