We’re looking for a Senior game designer to join our team and drive our game design further. You would work on strategic stuff – envisioning games and their future long-term, as well as hands-on designing and iteration. That’s why, for us, it’s important that you’re creative, excited by testing out innovative ideas, and enjoy harvesting the ideas from the team and players. What would you do?
- Develop long-term plans for game direction and manage game lifecycle aligning it with strategic goals and market positioning,
- Lead the design and development of game concepts, systems, mechanics, and features from ideation to implementation,
- Prototyping, iterating, and making data-driven decisions to shape the most engaging player experience,
- Based on data, balance gameplay mechanics to ensure a fun and rewarding game flow,
- Create and maintain thorough and clear game design documentation,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure intuitive and engaging gameplay experiences,
- Grows the game design discipline through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and setting designing standards,
- Brings the up-to-date industry and market trends.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record of designing and publishing features and games on the free-to-play market,
- Excellent understanding of free-to-play business model, player psychology, and market trends,
- Experience with LiveOps and game balancing,
- Ability to define problems simply, prototype solutions, and test them out efficiently,
- The data-driven mindset in every step of the design process
- Ability to nurture a creative team environment and collaborative relationships,
- Previous mentoring experience and willingness to grow others,
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas and design concepts to a diverse team,
- Valuing feedback and input coming from the team and the players.
We’ll consider it a plus if you have
- Previous experience with puzzle and mystery games or narrative design,
- Good understanding of mathematics and game economy.
