FOR THE WIN! – Main program

For the third year in a row, SGA presents the international conference For the Win! After two years in the Yugoslav Cinematheque, the time has come for maturation, a larger number of parallel program units and, therefore, a new location - mts Dvorana. This year, we can boast the most comprehensive program yet, more than 50 speakers, over 500 registered participants, a great party and, for the first time, a separate conference website!

For the third year in a row, Belgrade is visible on the dense spring calendar of European conferences and b2b events for video game creators. For the Win!, a versatile conference intended for all professionals from the gaming industry, but also from other creative-tech industries such as CG, VFX, animation and all types of digital design and storytelling, presents a rich program through several parallel program units and at three locations – May 29 and 30 at Bitef Theater, mts Dvorani and Karmakoma club.

For the Win! is conceived as a “new meeting point of the European gaming industry”, and year after year it expands its program. The goal is to pay attention to both mobile and PC game dev, as well as services and related sectors, as well as looking at the development of the wider ecosystem of the gaming industry. Therefore, it bears the label of b2b/stakeholder event. Domestic developers and creatives have the opportunity to listen to and meet the leaders of the global industry, to connect and make new contacts with colleagues from the region and the whole of Europe.

For the first time, FTW! has its own website, where you can find out everything about the event, program details, lecture schedule and biographies of our esteemed speakers. And there are almost 70 of them at the entire conference, and they come from about 20 different European countries! More than 500 registered participants, either by invitation (which until now was the only way to attend the event, for free), or by applying for the so-called wildcard, i.e. a limited number of tickets at a price of 70 EUR, for which all interested professionals could register via the website. We also add up about 150 students who will follow the special Shift2Games track.

Google remains a faithful partner FTW! conference, so Apphub and Gamecamp are with us again, and will satisfy the needs of all mobile enthusiasts and professionals. For all those who have specific questions for experts of various profiles, ASK THEM ANYTHING free consultations will give them the opportunity to speak directly and for free with top experts in specific fields. Overall, at one point mts Dvorana will host as many as four parallel tracks!

This year’s program marks the presence of some of the veterans of the European industry, then the first visits of professionals from Poland, the arrival of representatives of the Unity company in Serbia and the presence of a number of high-caliber companies when it comes to both software and hardware – Epic Games, Google, Unity and Intel. On the other hand, two leading Scandinavian mobile studios – Rovio and Supercell – will have their lecturers, while guests from around the world will be presented with the “new wave” of domestic indie titles, as well as some of the Russian companies and professionals who have been working from Serbia for some time.

All in all, there is so much to explore in just one day, and we will end it at Karmakoma, with the domestic premiere of the Demagog Studio music show, entitled Powerpoint Music. On this occasion, we will share with you the complete list of lecturers in mts Dvorana, and we invite you to visit the conference website and explore everything. details about them and their lectures!
