In the past, we have had very successful cooperation with all members of the Niš gaming community, and have come to the common conclusion that it is necessary to support faculties that focus on practical skills that are crucial for the professions of the future, namely those from the domain of creative industries. In addition to the events organized by the CTS supercluster, we believe that hardware equipment brings the greatest value.
As a vital part of the Master’s program of the Faculty of Electronics, which is partly focused on creative industries, the Rococo suit that we donated will be used in classes and courses that will be organized in cooperation with CTS.
But perhaps the most important thing is that the entire gaming ecosystem gets a tool that greatly speeds up the process of creating animations, movements and reactions of characters not only in gaming but also in film and marketing projects.
At the recently held meetup dedicated to motion capture technology, we had the opportunity to hear from experts how important such a model of a suit is and how much it reduces the time (and therefore costs) of animation.
What makes us particularly happy is the fact that at this meetup it was agreed that the team from the startup Sign Avatar will be able to use this suit in the realization of their project – an automatic sign language translator for the deaf and mute.
Dean of the Faculty of Electronics, prof. Dr. Dragan Mančić expressed great gratitude for this donation and once again invited Creative Tech Serbia supercluster and Serbia Innovates, as well as the entire ecosystem for further cooperation and offered activities organized by the electronic faculty as a platform for further promotion of projects and activities.
