All interested gamers, programmers, fans of games, jams and hackathons will have the opportunity to try their hand at creating a video game on a given topic. The theme remains a secret until the start of the Global Game Jam, when it will be released worldwide at the same time.
Global Game Jam is held in over 600 locations in over 100 countries around the world, and the goal of the event is to gather all fans, with or without developer experience, so that the gaming community in Serbia and the world continues to grow.
Although you may not have a formed team but want to be part of a global gaming event, apply and Metropolitan University will assign you a team to work with. All teams will have up to 48 hours to create their video game, and after the time expires, they will have the opportunity to present their final ideas.
During the duration of the Jam, the registrants will have mentors from the Metropolitan University at their disposal, who will provide them with help in developing solutions, and at the very beginning of the event, workshops will be held for competitors who have no experience in creating video games.
Applications are open until February 2 on this link.
