We are dedicated to planning the next two years of local gaming – this is the new SGA Board of Directors
To maintain continuity of vision for the development of the gaming ecosystem, three members from the previous convocation remain on the Board of Directors. They are Marija Illić (Gaming Industry Executive & Advisor), who was unanimously re-elected as President of the Board of Directors; Nikola Čavić (Founder, GameBiz Consulting) and Adam Kovač (Senior Solutions Specialist, 3Lateral/Epic Games).
The four new members of the Board are: Marko Gardijan (Founder, Yboga), Marko Jevtić (Top Eleven Lead, Nordeus), Nikola Stojanović (General Manager, Wargaming) and Nikola Šoškić (Founder, Shosha Games).
The Director of the Association, Mihajlo Jovanović Džaril, who himself was previously part of the Board of Directors, says about the new composition:
“I am extremely glad that the new composition of the Board of Directors faithfully reflects the diversity of the SGA membership – among them are representatives of indie studios, relocated companies, service providers, independent professionals, as well as key actors of the local industry. Thanks to this diversity, I believe that in the work of the Board of Directors, we will be able to see different perspectives and make decisions that take into account the needs of the entire community.” He also believes that:
On the occasion of re-election to the position of President of the Board of Directors, Marija Ilić told us:
“It is a great honor that the new convocation of the Board of Directors has given me the confidence to be re-elected as president. I have been with the SGA from the very beginning and I know how valuable it is that an association like this exists. I firmly believe that we, as a board of directors made up of industry professionals, and an executive team that is already well-coordinated, will successfully navigate even a period as challenging as this one. We know what our priorities are, we listen to our members and the community, and we are already planning some of the most important projects that we will be working on for the next two years.”
All members of the Board of Directors have rich experience in the gaming industry and work dedicatedly to strengthen the community either as mentors, lecturers at colleges, investors, or authors of professional books. In the short term, they will work together on planning upcoming projects and initiatives, and in the long term, on the strategy for the development of the entire ecosystem.
