SGA member Pet Project Games represents Serbia at EuroPlay competition

For the second year in a row – European gaming associations, lead by UKIE, are organizing EuroPlay – a competition for the best, unpublished games made by European, independent studios. Join us on Thursday, August 26, at Gamescom when trailers of 15 unpublished games, from 15 European countries, will be shown.

This year, Studio Pet Project Games represents Serbia, with their SF FPS title Ripout made in Unreal Engine – the game’s release is planned for next year. Each association chose its representative internally, and this year SGA’s expert jury composed of members of the SGA Board of Directors chose Ripout. Last year, Serbian representative was the game Going Medieval by Foxy Voxel.

Milan Đukić, the representative of this studio, said for the portal Netokracija, that since this is a “full-blooded” first-person shooter, they are often asked how many people are working on the project. “It is precisely this small but selected team of people that makes the large division almost non-existent. 90% of the roles belong to the creative part of programming and artwork, and the rest is filled with the necessary marketing & business roles .”

Although small, this team consists of developers with decades of experience in the gaming industry. They, as they say, strive to provide an uncompromising gaming experience to core players, which, by all accounts, they will manage to do in their first game, which you can already wishlist on Steam.

Watch the trailer for Ripout below, and you can support our country in the EuroPlay competition on August 26 at 7 pm, by voting on Twitter. You can get links to the video stream by signing up here. The event will also be streamed on the Gamescom website.
