NIS wants to help their employees through an interactive approach to master and apply the measures that ensure safe working conditions, more specifically the HSE rules (Health, Safety and Environment). Looking at costs and statistics, the reasons for this are multiple, but more important than that is that behind every number there is a person, and behind every person - family or friends.

NIS Game Jam is an interactive competition to create a video game with the aim of helping NIS employees better adopt and apply HSE rules (Health, Safety and Environment). This competition opens an opportunity for teams to design a game prototype that will raise awareness of the importance of HSE in everyday work activities, innovatively and educationally.

For years, NIS has been investing in the education of employees and subcontractors in the field of HSE standards, through over 50 different trainings. The NIS Game Jam competition is designed as another step in that direction.

At the final event, the best team will win the main prize in the amount of RSD 1,000,000.

Applications for the NIS Game Jam are open from November 12th to November 27th at this linkApplications are open for teams of two to five members. Participants must be of legal age and have experience in video game development and a creative approach. The competition is open to participants from Serbia and surrounding countries, and the game should be in Serbian.

The selected teams will start the game development process on November 29, while the deadline for submitting the prototype is December 18. During the competition, mentors and experts from NIS will support the teams. After that, the jury will choose the five best teams, who will have the opportunity to present their work at the final Demo Day, on December 23, at the ICT Hub, at 10 Kralja Milana Street in Belgrade.

At the final event, the best team will win the main prize of one million RSD.
