Discover the power of in-game advertising at the next Community Summit

Today, video games are finding applications beyond entertainment. Interactive experiences are increasingly being used as powerful tools for building brand awareness and connecting with users. Applied gaming is increasingly a focus for Epic Games and the tools in their ecosystem, which will be the topic of the next Community Summit.

On Thursday, May 22, starting at 5 PM, the next Epic Games Community Summit will be held in the amphitheater of the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, dedicated to the development of video games for the needs of brands. The event will bring together advertising professionals, production studios and independent game creators who want to learn more about the possibilities of applied gamified content.

The summit will present the current project of the Fortnite creator and participant in several UEFN educational programs, Lena Glišović, in the field of video game development for the needs of tourism promotion.

As Game Crafting 2.0, a program implemented by SGA in collaboration with 3Lateral as part of Epic Games, has recently finished, we will premiere a trailer with all 14 new games. Three alumni, Tamara Maksimović, Strahinja Ravić, and Miloš Karadžić, will present their projects. Summit visitors will have the opportunity to try out the released games, some of which are co-op, which guarantees that it will be fun!

The Gamified Branding & Beyond panel discussion will be held in the second part of the event, with the aim of exchanging experiences between representatives of game development and advertising. The panel will feature Miloš Đurđević, Creative Director at Fullhouse Ogilvy, Nikola Šoškić, Founder of Shosha Games, and Lena Glišović, Head of Gaming at Glitch Studios (Radonica Krug), and the session will be moderated by Ivica Milarić, Lecturer at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and Game Designer. The panel will be a great opportunity to discuss the potential of games for brand recognition, opportunities, available tools, as well as current and future trends.
