SGA MENTORSHIP

It is with great pleasure that we open the applications for the third cycle of the SGA mentoring program!

Mentoring is one of the methods of lifelong learning and exchange of knowledge between mentor and mentee, but also an environment in which they jointly develop on a personal level, master new ones and improve their "soft" skills.

WHO CAN APPLY?

If you are part of a team that is a full member of SGA (with a Start, Pro, Premium membership package) or a team that is a member of the Creative Tech Serbia supercluster, you have the right to apply for participation.

If you are not sure whether your team, studio or company has the right to participate, write to us at kristinajankovic@sga.rs or see the list of SGA members as well as the list of Creative Tech Serbia supercluster members.

WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?

For everyone who wants to improve their professional and personal skills, and thereby accelerate the development of their creative career – regardless of the field in which you work and create. All programmers, artists, creative writers, as well as irreplaceable biz dev experts (ASO, UA, marketing, HR…) are welcome.

Whether you are at the very beginning of your career, or would confidently call yourself mid-level or senior, participating in this type of program can help you define and achieve professional goals and plans.

We firmly believe that professionals from creative industries can especially benefit from this type of program, because they work in a dynamic and challenging environment that is constantly changing, so constant work on yourself is something that goes without saying. Having a mentor makes that journey easier!

Nikola Damjanov, Nordeus

People can do a lot with a little support.

Gordana Buhač, Bright Star Studios

Knowledge is not yours to know, but to give!

Stanislav Stanković, Northern Stars

A mentoring relationship is always a two-way street - everyone learns a lot.

Nikola Josifović, Webelinx Games

I became much more confident in myself and in my knowledge.

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I SET ASIDE?

This cycle lasts six months, from November 24, 2022 to June 2023. During the program you will have:

  • A goal setting workshop
  • Seven meetings with a mentor – where you work 1-on-1
  • Three mandatory workshops – where you have the opportunity to network with all participants and where we equip you with the necessary tools
  • One consultation – to support you in the process
  • A celebration in person 😀

Please objectively assess whether you are able to take the necessary time to work dedicatedly in each meeting with the mentors and in each workshop we have.

All workshops will be held via Zoom, we want people from all cities to have equal access to the program. Meetings with mentors depend on your agreement, and the celebration will definitely be live!

WHO WILL BE THE MENTORS?

Leading gaming industry experts from across the region. Each of them specializes in some of the areas that are present in our industry. The mentors will work dedicatedly and responsibly to support you as best as possible in your growth and help you reach the goals you set at the beginning of the program.

In the previous cycle, the mentors were experts from the following companies: Nordeus, Google, Two Desperados, Electronic Arts, Sozap, Playrix RS, Cofa Games.

***In the implementation of the program, we are assisted by the organization that has the most experience in our region when it comes to mentoring processes among creative people and young professionals – Creative Mentorship.

***This activity is launched by the Creative Tech Serbia supercluster, with the support of USAID Serbia and ICT Hub Belgrade, (through the Serbia Inovira project).
