Spring Meetup

Summer is just around the corner, and high temperatures are already here, so we decided to pretend that spring is still in full swing! And what better way to enjoy "spring" than hanging out and talking about gaming?

Join us in Novi Sad as we count down to the start of summer, and the summer break in terms of events, because who’s crazy enough to leave the house (except for Gamescom, of course). But before we cocoon ourselves with our air conditioners, we decided to help you improve your gaming knowledge and chit-chat with people who will be spending the summer the same way you are – making and playing video games!

Here’s what awaits you at the Spring meetup at ACZOR:

Miloš Karadžić, UEFN Creator, Game Crafting Alumni

Scavenger Rush – A Game Crafting Project

Miloš will present his game Scavanber Rush and the Game Crafting program. He will talk about game design and difficulty of balancing, how to make the game as fun as possible, and how to create an original UEFN island for a global audience using Verse devices in just one month.

Savo Lipovina, Texture Artist, Mad Head Games

Game Worlds That Run Smooth: Environment Art Optimization to Run on Consoles

Learn how to leverage key techniques (like effective UV practices) and new features (such as Nanite)! This presentation is great for artists who want to balance high visual quality with performance and hardware limitations in real-time environments for the current-gen consoles.

Luka Ćurčić, CEO, Marble IT

Marble IT: Organisational efficiency in building games, software and everything in between

Find out how Marble IT develops games, applications, web solutions and everything in between, with a focus on gaming, entertainment and 3D visualization. Luka will show how they utilize different processes, business practices and tools like AI to efficiently use their clients’ budgets.

Mirko Božović, Senior Game Designer, Sperasoft

Patience, please

Through his presentation, Mirko will talk about his life as a game dev, but also his path to experience, knowledge and title, i.e., position, which is a valuable lesson for anyone who wants to enter the video game industry. The title says it all!

About the lecturer

He comes from a background in marketing and finance, but in the last few years, he has been actively developing his skills in gaming, with a focus on level and game design. In his free time, he has dedicated himself to researching level creation tools within various games that offer level editors, through which he independently learned the basics of level and game design. He participated in the Game Crafting course in April 2025, after which he shifted his focus to working in the Fortnite ecosystem. He is currently working on his third project in the Fortnite ecosystem and his focus is on single-player experiences. He wants to integrate the knowledge and experience from previous industries into video game development, with the aim of contributing to teams that create fun and high-quality gaming experiences.
