Shift2Games CAREER DAY in Novi Pazar!

For everyone interested in a career in the gaming industry, we are preparing another job and career counseling fair - this time in Novi Pazar! Come and show your drawings to game art seniors, ask HR experts anything you're interested. At the end of the event, inspiring lectures and announcements of new SGA programs await you.

WHO IS #SHIFT2GAMES CAREER DAY FOR? You! Regardless of whether you are just exploring the possibilities, looking for your first gaming job or already working in another industry and want to make the shift to gaming, this event is the right opportunity for you.

WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE?

During the whole day in the Smart City Center we will organize several different activities:

  • PORTFOLIO REVIEW WORKSHOPS – You draw for yourself, follow tutorials on YouTube, but you are not sure if you are going in the right direction? During the day you will have the opportunity to show your work to senior artists. All you need is your tablet or laptop and you will receive valuable feedback and advice for the future.
  • HR WORKSHOPS – Ask HR experts anything that interests you. Talk to them about the recruitment process, improve your CV or apply for internships at companies that will soon open their programs.
  • STUDIO BUILDER WORKSHOPS – You have an idea for a new game that you are sure can succeed, but you lack a little motivation and knowledge about what is needed? This is the right workshop for you! You will have the opportunity to hear from people who are involved in the development of ideas as well as those who have had first-hand experience in building a studio and you can ask them anything that might interest you.
  • MAIN STAGE [18.00 – 19.15 ] – At the end of the day, listen to inspiring lectures by local stars of the gaming and creative industries, who have gone from beginners to experts! This year the lecturers will be:
  • Dr Šemsudin Plojović;
  • Nenad Jovanovski;
  • Ramiz Trtovac;
  • Aleksa Jeremić;
  • Maja Ćosić.

Through the registration link, you can choose whether you want to be a part of one of the workshops or just the main part of the event.

Also, new cycle of the Playing Narratives program and other activities that SGA is preparing for 2025 will be announced!

Shift2Games Career Day would not be possible without the support of the RECONOMY project, Sweden’s program for inclusive and green economic development, as well as our dedicated industry partners.

See you on October 31 in Novi Pazar!
