PlayAI – the good, the bad, the beer

It's time for an evening dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence in the gaming industry!

As a part of AI Week, a festival of technology and creativity organized by StartIt, a segment of the program is reserved for the use of AI in game development. This is a great opportunity to glimpse into the future of the gaming industry. From character and world creation, to QA process automation and advertising, our speakers will share concrete experiences, tools and insights from their studios and teams.

:globe_with_meridians: Who is the event for?

For Developers, Designers, QA Engineers, Monetization Specialists, students and all curious minds interested in how AI is changing the gaming industry.

📋What awaits you:

Nikita Ershov (Playkot – SuperCity)

Automating Game QA: From Chaotic Prompts to Production

Over the past six months, Playkot’s team has transformed live-game QA from ad-hoc ChatGPT prompts into a repeatable, AI-driven pipeline in Cursor IDE. Nikita will share the real-world use cases, missteps and breakthroughs that let them swap tedious manual checks for automated tests, fully document their testing flows and empower every team member to run and extend AI-powered QA.

Damjan Kačar (GameBiz Consulting)

Can AI be an Ad Monetization Manager: The Good, the Bad and the Hallucinated

From writing emails to giving medical advice, AI is steadily encroaching on many different domains. This begs the question: are these chatbots actually good enough to replace the real thing? Are our jobs at risk of being taken over by AI? We’ll examine that through the lens of ad monetization and how good the currently available AI models are in navigating the daily challenges of such work.

After the twenty-minute presentations, you can expect networking with what, let’s face it, is what you’ll all come for – beer. See you!
