Free Shift2Games program at the FOR THE WIN! conference

It's time for the fourth local b2b conference dedicated to the video game industry - FOR THE WIN! Although the event is intended primarily for professionals, like the previous two years, the completely free program of lectures will be open to beginners, juniors, university or high school students. You only need to register!

Unlike previous editions, this year the FTW conference is open to all interested visitors, and tickets are available at the regular price of 69 EUR.

The exception is the five lectures on the special Shift2Games track, which everyone can attend completely free of charge, and you only need to register before the event. As part of this special program, you can expect lectures adapted to topics that are relevant to our younger colleagues and those who plan to enter the game dev world professionally soon. Here’s what awaits you:

You can reach the Press Center, where the program will be held, by using the right staircase in the hall of mts Dvorana.

The Shift2Games track is named after the Shift2Games platform, one of the key SGA projects, which aims to popularize gaming professions and the industry as a whole, primarily among high school and university students, as well as young professionals already active in other relevant industries.

Other FTW programs

More than 500 visitors and about 50 speakers and participants will once again gather in mts Hall, and like every year, FTW! offers the audience an interesting mix of lectures, panels and workshops that are favorable to those who develop games for mobile devices, as well as core developers and designers, or other creative-tech niches. Some of the topics that will be in focus this year are publishing, the use of AI tools in production, ad monetization, news related to the most important game engines (Unity and Unreal Engine), external development (that is, outsourcing), as well as topics related to resistance to the crisis that continues to persist within the gaming industry. In addition, the Game Slice program offers indie teams the opportunity to present their projects to European publishers.

Among the renowned companies, and publishers for the first time, whose representatives will be in front of the audience in Belgrade are CD PROJEKT RED, Anshar Studios, Outfit7, Unity, Intel, 3Lateral / Epic Games, Aurora Punks, Old Skull Games, Sperasoft, Raw Fury, Bright Gambit, Spectral Games, Untold Tales, Shosha Games, Foxy Voxel, Chat3d, Grindstone, Herocraft, Untold Tales, GameBiz Consulting, Kando Factory, Narwhal Accelerator and many others. The country that is a special guest is one of the leaders in the European industry – Poland.

See the complete program of the conference on the website.

FOR THE WIN! was made possible and supported this year by Outfit7, Unity, Playstudios Europe, 3 Lateral / Epic Games, Polish Institute, French Institute, MEDIA Desk Serbia and Hotel Metropol Palace.
